As the doctor went inside I was gazing at the OT room mindlessly just hoping for the doctor to come out and say Riya is fine. I waited 5 mins... 10 mins... 20 mins... 45 mins... I waited with the same hope with a heavy heart constantly reminding me of a pain I never felt. This silence was killing me.
